Proposals

  • A 900MW IGCC carbon capture and storage Power Station (Don Valley Power Station) is proposed for the site in Stainforth, North of the railway line – it has full planning permission
  • A 400,000 tonne waste MRF is proposed for the same site – it has full planning permission
  • An incinerator for the above is proposed for the waste plant (according to the developers website) – planning not applied for
  • An M18 Jn5 link road is proposed for taking traffic from the M18 to the above proposals, although there is no mechanism or time frame in place to ensure it is built – it has outline planning permission
